Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and eggs are one of the cheap and nutritious foods to help start a day full of energy. But when your dog looks pleadingly at your omelette, is it right to give him some of our food?
The answer is yes. Boiled or hard-boiled eggs can be a wonderful treat and a good dietary supplement for your pet or guard dog.
Warning: try to prepare the egg without salt and spices, or if you want to make it in the form of an omelet, avoid adding onions or other harmful ingredients to dog food. You should also make sure that the eggs are cooked without using additives such as oil, butter, pepper or salt. These additives may be dangerous for the dog (although you can use a small amount of cheese with the egg as a special treat). Benefits of eggs for dogs
Eggs contain protein and are rich in amino acids and essential acids, vitamins A and B12, as well as folate, iron, selenium and riboflavin, which are beneficial for the health of dogs, as well as the health of their skin and coat, and help to have strong teeth and bones. Likewise, eggs are a common food in many pet diets and are considered safe and nutritious for most dogs.
However, while you can easily include eggs in your dog's diet, you should never use them as a main source. In general, it is better to use eggs only a few times a week and that too as a supplement to a complete diet.
