What is in dry dog food?

Most dry dog foods are made from soy, whole grains, or rice. Higher priced pet foods contain a combination of agricultural ingredients such as grains (wheat and rice, etc.), seafood, poultry, and supplemental vitamins and minerals that meet your pet's nutritional needs.

Although these feeds have a higher price, they are very important. Because our animal will eat less quality products, while their absorption will be more, as a result, the costs will decrease, and thus, in the long run, it will not find such a price difference with other foods.

Finding the right pet food can be a difficult process. However, the best place to start is to read the ingredients list of that feed. Like human food labels, animal food labels are listed in order of weight. In the highest quality pet foods, meat products are listed first or second, meaning that the highest percentage of the food is protein.

Make sure the food you buy is formulated for your pet's age. For example, puppy food makes an adult animal fat, and juvenile animal food does not meet the needs of puppies for growth and development.
